So I want to touch on the importance of podcasting and what podcasting has done for your brand, both your personal brand and the agency. Why do you think it is important now to be going on the podcasting circuit? Chris Pantelli: Good question. I just think there are so many benefits to having your own podcast. For us, I put it into three main buckets. First, it grows your personal brand, visibility, and authority. You can get people onto your podcast who are more authoritative within your industry or adjacent industries, and that levels you up in how you appear through search and AI search. Second, once you build credibility, it becomes a great platform to invite ideal prospects on. You get to talk about them, their businesses, their concerns, and their thoughts, and you can start nurturing a relationship. Third, it is a great way to invite people on that you want to talk to and learn from. Instead of paying a large consulting fee, you can get them on your show for half an hour or an hour and pick their brains. James Dooley: Yeah, for sure. From an SEO standpoint alone, it is powerful. You can get dozens of new referring domains with strong semantic associations. Your name, your agency, your podcast all get distributed across Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple, and more. You can even build IMDb profiles for yourself and your agency. Last year I focused heavily on books, and they generated a lot of business for me. Next year I am going all in on podcasting. The distribution, the entity connections, and the authority building are massive. You can also get ideal customer personas on and ask them directly what they look for when choosing an SEO or digital PR agency. Are there any tips you would give to someone watching this who is thinking about starting their own podcast? There is a stat that around 85 percent of people quit before episode nine. My advice is always to commit to 50 episodes and not quit, even if only two people are watching. Chris Pantelli: Not quitting is definitely key. I would also recommend watching YouTube videos on how to set things up and not going straight to an agency. Agencies are expensive and unnecessary at the start. You do not need the perfect thumbnail or perfect music. Tools like Podbean are cheap, easy to use, and allow you to syndicate everywhere with one click. You can also insert ads and segment content easily. My advice is to get the first episode done. You will get better with each one. Batch booking is another big tip. We now open the calendar on one day, record several episodes back to back, and that makes everything far more manageable. Do not stress over stats early on. Growth happens organically. Research your guests and invite people you genuinely want to talk to. James Dooley: I completely agree. One thing that helped me was creating a media kit. When you reach out to guests, you need to show them what they get from being on your podcast. Who listens, what the audience looks like, and how it benefits them. Batch recording is huge as well. Block a day, record ten episodes, and you are done. Do not overthink cameras or audio early on. Just start. Your first episodes being average is fine because improvement is part of the journey. Chris Pantelli: Another thing I would add is trying hard to get at least one recognised name in your niche early on. In SEO, getting someone like Neil Patel on makes outreach much easier afterwards. Once people see a credible name, barriers drop instantly. We also offer guests extra value. Professional production, short clips, social promotion, and authority building. That makes it a much easier yes. James Dooley: What about amplification after publishing? Beyond syndication, are you doing anything else to promote episodes? Chris Pantelli: We are heavy on social media and repurposing content. We leverage the guest’s audience as much as possible. We create short clips and analyse transcripts with AI to turn them into mini courses, email content, and educational material. There are endless ways to repurpose podcast content.
